a couple of creatives
Michelle and Matt are a couple of friends across the US/Canadian border who happen to love having fun with web design. So they figured, why not collaborate on something really creative?
404Play.com was born while talking at a WordCamp in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
There may have been alcohol involved. We’re not telling.
What we will share is that this is a passion project to help YOU, and hey, a little spending money for us isn’t bad, either.
Michelle speaks at WordCamps and conferences all over North America. You can find many of them recorded on WordPress.tv including “Little Things That Make a Big Difference” and “Hidden Features of WordPress Revealed,” as well as panel discussions on ethics, marketing, page builders, and women in technology.
Michelle founded WordCamp Rochester in 2016, has served as a WordCamp organizer for WordCamp Buffalo, and is on the PR/Communications Team for WordCamp US 2019.
Michelle is the author “A Good Firm Handshake (and other essential business tips)” available on Amazon.com.
A seasoned coder and a clever video and audio producer, Matt uses a wide range of technologies to bring even the most outlandish ideas and designs to life. His innate curiosity translates into exceptional problem solving skills. With over 10 years of technical experience behind him, Matt is an expert in both mobile device and computer development.
Even before he was a developer, Matt was using WordPress for his blogging needs, back when he was a “prolific” blogger, before it was cool. Matt has been developing with WordPress for 6 years, almost exclusively for 2 years.
Matt is from Whitby, ON, Canada and he is currently Co-Founder and Developer at Ywallit, a startup financial service provider and a web development freelancer.
